Robert S. Marrone joined the Firm in 1978 and has been a partner since 1993. He is responsible for overseeing the Continuing Professional Education program at the firm. Robert received a Certificate of Educational Achievement in Governmental Accounting and Auditing from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is a Certified Public Accountant, a Registered Municipal Accountant and a Public School Accountant. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Drexel University.
Robert has extensive governmental auditing experience and assists local governmental entities forecasting for budget debt service and tax revenues. His continuing audit clients include municipalities, school districts, a municipal library and several non-profit consulting clients.
In 2010, Mr. Marrone was awarded the Distinguished Service Award for “Exceeding Expectations and Setting the Standard of Excellence for Others to Follow” from the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants.
He has served as an adjunct professor at Drexel University. He speaks frequently on accounting-related subjects before local, school, county and statewide organizations.
