Michael J. Welding is a Partner with over twenty five years of experience in the Governmental Services Department of the Firm. His areas of expertise are in the governmental consulting and auditing of counties, municipalities, authorities, school districts and special districts of the State of New Jersey. He is licensed to practice as a Certified Public Accountant, Registered Municipal Accountant and Public School Accountant. Mr. Welding earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Rutgers University Camden in 1981. Experience: Mr. Welding is currently Partner-in-Charge on the engagements of one county, eight municipalities, one school district, six utility authorities and various other special governmental entity engagements. His responsibilities have also included assistance to clients in the selection and implementation of computer hardware and software systems, assistance in various debt issuance matters and assistance with utility rate studies and connection fee calculations. Mr. Welding is also licensed as a Municipal Chief Financial Officer. Membership in Professional and Civic Organizations: Mr. Welding is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Registered Municipal Accountants' Association of New Jersey. He is a Trustee and Treasurer of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants PAC Committee. He is also a charter member of the Rotary Club of Pine Hill Sunrise. Mr. Welding and his wife Diane are residents of Harrison Township, Gloucester County.
