L. Jarred Corn is a Partner in the Governmental Services Department of the Firm. He has been with Bowman & Company LLP since 1992. His areas of expertise include the audits of municipal governments, school districts, private schools for the disabled, non-profit organizations, housing authorities, sewerage authorities, port authorities and fire districts. He is licensed to practice as a Certified Public Accountant, Public School Accountant and Registered Municipal Accountant in New Jersey. Mr. Corn earned his B.S. in accounting from Trenton State College (now known as The College of New Jersey).
Experience: Mr. Corn is currently responsible for the audits of several authorities, municipalities, school districts and non-profit organizations, most of which are subject to the requirements of the Single Audit Act. Some of his larger clients include the City of Camden and the Delaware River Port Authority. He has helped develop and instruct in-house continuing professional education seminars involving school district accounting and auditing, implementation of various Governmental Accounting Standards Board Statements, and municipal accounting and auditing. In addition, he serves as a member of the Firm’s Quality Control Committee, specifically as the in-charge for the Governmental Services Department.
Membership in Professional Organizations: Mr. Corn is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Mr. Corn resides in Lumberton Township, Burlington County with his wife Julie and their three children.
